Create Personal Business Cards Online in 5 Easy Steps

You can be less than an hour away from having your next batch of business cards printed.  And the best part is that you don’t have to spend a cent on the design and proof.  All you have to do is to order your personal business cards online.

Anybody can do it

Some online printing companies offer plenty of ways to make this business card printing easy.  Their online services have such user-friendly and complete functions and features that you can have your business cards by mere copying, pasting, typing and clicking.  You can forego asking the assistance of professionals like graphic designers and layout artists, should you choose to use the online tools of printing companies.  This automatically saves you plenty of time and plenty of money.

It all starts with choosing the right online printer for this job.  Make sure that the printing company you pick offers free design and pre-press services so you can cut down on your expenses.

Done in a jiffy

Once you’re in the website, navigate and look for their design tool.  Click on this and you can start creating your personal business cards online.

1.    Pick a design for your business cards

Design tools normally come with pre-made templates that you can use for free.  The best part is that they actually come up with collections so you have plenty to choose from.  Categorized templates would be much helpful when it comes to browsing so you can immediately proceed to the industry you want like medicine or education.

2.    Insert your logo and  contact details

Once you pick your design, you can start adding your name, position, contact details and address.  Logo is a big factor in business cards so if you have one, upload the file containing the logo image and position it on your business card design.  Or if you want to use an image aside from this you may do so using the same process.

3.    View the design

Some design tools can automatically generate live images of your resulting design.  This is an important step since this lets you see if the elements in your business card like graphics and texts are inside the safe zone, a mark that determines which elements are at risk of being cut off after printing.

If you are confident with the design and layout, you can approve it.  If not, you may request for a soft copy proof of your design which will be done by the resident pre-press specialist of the printing company.

4.    Name the specs

From here, you can dictate the basic specs like size, orientation, quantity and turnaround time.  Turnaround time means the period that includes printing, cutting and packaging.  Once the turnaround time is over, your order gets shipped or is ready for pickup.

5.    Check out

If you requested for an electronic proof, make sure that you approve it once you are satisfied with it. Also, finalize the specs and pay your bill.  Once your printer gets the go signal, printing commences.

All it takes are a few minutes of your time.  A portion of your lunch break may be all that you need to design and order your personal business cards online.

Outsource your Web Design Requirements to Canada

Do you think it is high time for your organisation to strengthen its online presence by outsourcing its web design requirements to professionals in Canada? If yes, then we can provide information as to how professionals residing in Canada will design a site which will enable you to achieve all your organisational objectives through effective online promotion.

Important pointers to look out for while designing a site

Expected outcome from visitors
It is critical for a web design company to keep its outcome focused. Any single page on a website should have a core objective instead of having an incomplete objective of just keeping the users informed about the services. Rather, a site should ask the visitor as to what he exactly wants to do on the page.

Knowing as to whether the design works or not
Indiscriminate spending of money on designing or redesigning a website should be avoided at every cost. One can just create a one-page design and test its conversion rate by driving traffic to it. Once satisfied with the conversion rate of visitors into leads or sales, it’s about time a person starts investing in the entire website.

The Target Market
Get a good understanding of your target market. When a prospect visits a site, he must be presented with all the information he had been looking for all this time. In a scenario, where a business has multiple target markets, it should certainly have a higher number of landing pages.

To conclude, when a person visits a site, is he met with a potential solution to all his issues or just with the name of an organisation with a whole load of information?

At NetJump, our web design Canada professionals ensure every page is designed only for optimal conversion with a clear call to action. What’s more, an easy-to-use backend system and a quick follow up of your leads ensure every visitor to a site is more than just a potential client.

How can I design and make my own shoes?

Not for business or retail…I would just love to have some of my designs made from scratch. Is there a kit you can buy to create them? Or do you need to consult a specialist? I’m just thinking it would be great to have my own exclusive heels, and if I could do it myself even better. I’d love to hear ideas and advice on this, so if you have the time, I’d like to hear from you xo

Aww that’s nice.

Selecting Web Designing Company

There are a large number of web design companies in India, who are vying for your attention. But, not all of them can satisfy your needs and demands when it comes designing a superior website that is not only attractive but also effective. So how do you choose a professional web design company? You will have to keep a few parameters in mind before making your choice. Hopefully the tips given below will help you in this regard.

Analyze your Needs

Before you start searching for the perfect web designing company, you must first analyze your needs and requirements. You must make a list of primary needs that you want your website to satisfy. Also, list down the secondary needs! You must also have a fair idea of your target audience and should be able to convey everything to your web designing company.

Making a List

Make a list of the designers and companies that are into this business. This will give you a fair idea of whom to approach. After making an initial list, short-list a few companies, which you think will be good for you. Ask around. Ask your friends, or other business colleagues. Get a fair idea of the market and only then approach them and think about hiring specific web designing services.

The Portfolio

Every company has a portfolio of work that it has done in the past. You must ask to be shown the company’s earlier work. Website designing is more of an art, then a science. Hence, put value on experience and previous work. Once going through the portfolio, you will have a clear idea about the number of projects undertaken by the company, the kind of clients, and types of projects.

The Process of Web Development

The company that you finally choose must have a clearly defined process of web development. There are a whole lot of aspects that go into the process of web development and they must be undertaken in a specific format. The company must have an expertise in doing so. A haphazard process of web development won’t create a successful website.

Security

You will provide the web design company with your confidential information. This means that they must have security polices and measures in place that would protect your data at all times. Before you choose a company to do business with, you should check whether they have a stringent data security procedure in place. Moreover, they must be willing to sign a Non- Disclosure Agreement with you.

At the end of the day you must choose a company that you will be comfortable working with. There is no dearth of web designers in India who are the best at their business. So take your time and choose with care.

How can I find customers for a new logo design business?

I have set up a new design business (web and logo) called Steve’s Web Design. I’m offering a heavily reduced price on my logos so I can build up my portfolio at £100 a logo! But I can’t get hardly any customers. How can I get more using the internet. I know you can spend tonnes advertising and I have put some in the free classified ads such as Craigslist but for no results. Please tell me how to get started.

Thanks

One way of enticing your clients to bring you more clients is giving them incentives. You can offer them some discounts on their next design jobs.

As a marketing tool you can also create a portfolio of your previous design jobs. This you can use to present when you are selling your service. Your must at least have a portable and online portfolio for selling purposes.

Be always on the look out for new businesses in your surrounding. They might need to use your graphic design services to market themselves in the area. Get their addresses and send them mailers like postcards telling them about your services.

Usually new businesses need business cards, brochures, letterheads, forms and many other marketing materials.

You must also be friendly to other people in the industry and related industries. For someone who still needs exposure it also helps to provide your services free of charge on your spare time.

Whats the best way to travel from lowestoft to islington?

Whats the best way to travel from lowestoft, suffolk to the business design centre,Islington, N1 0QH ? Ive been told it would be best to drive to the outskirts of london and get the tube for the rest of the way in? ive got no idea!! We need to be there by about 9am and depart after 5pm.

Right…two options, train or drive then tube!

If you choose to drive i recommend driving to Stratford and leaving your car there. Close enough to minimise your time on the tube but cheap enough to avoid congestion charges and hefty parking costs!

There is also the train which will take about 2hours45mins …as someone above said, you need to change at ipswich. The first train is the 05:36 which arrive at london liverpool street for 08:23 which leaves you plenty of time to get to islington as its very close.

Personally i would take the train if there are no planned engineering works when you are travelling. However travelling at peak times can be expensive. If you want the cheaper fare (Cheap day return ticket) you will need to wait until the 19:32 direct train home. This will cost you £42 whereas if you wish to depart london earlier (5pm-6:30pm) your return ticket will cost £76!!!!

It also depends how much you enjoy driving. For such a long journey, maybe travelling on the train will be a bit better for you, whichever you prefer!
